LUCY'S STATEMENT REGARDING THE SMART GROUP.
Attending this art group each week has enabled me to rekindle my love of art as a school student.
As a mum of young children the only time I've had to be creative meant making invites, cards, and models with two boys. That all changed when I joined the Smart Group.I now get 3 hours to myself to have time to listen, learn and explore my artistic creative side.With fantastic encouragement, ample materials available to experiment with, and a friendly group I look forward to each week. I enjoy planning each project and often finishing them in my own time. Who would have thought that within a few weeks I would be proud to show family and friends my work no matter how it looks. After many years of not doing anything creative I can see it being a part of my life for many years to come.
This is hopefully just the start.
