​‘Selsey Summer Skills’

Arts Dream Selsey has been working with  Hilary Strong and Strong Ideas Theatre company  on a three week making theatre and gaining skills project for young people. The results of the project are four different plays written and performed each day by the Selsey community based on the news of the day, developed in Week 1,and also the  writing and performing of a play for children, in weeks 2 and 3

The plays all different will be shown on the following dates and times, Tuesday 19th , Wednesday the 20th , Thursday the 21st and Friday 22nd of July at the Academy Selsey at 7pm. Each play will last for 15 minutes, and entrance is free. On Saturday the 23rd of July there will be  a gala performance   of all the plays ‘News Week’ Ticket price £5.00 concessions £3.00. Tickets for all the plays are available on the door. The plays all have a comedic  satirical approach think’ Have I got news for you ‘!

The Children’s play (Selsey themed) will be suitable for young children and will be a lively colourful production with song and dance  and be shown at the following times:
Friday 5th of August  @1.30pm and 3.00pm.
Saturday the 6th of August @11am  and at 2pm. The play will last for 30 minutes and entrance is by a donation. At the Academy Selsey – Tickets on the door
