Audience comments:
‘If we had to leave opera aside, then my two all- time favourite theatre experiences are Anything Goes and Charlie. The Clog Dance was one of the most memorable scenes in have ever seen on a stage- or a Church -hall floor’
‘If I had to list the three most memorable theatre evenings I have ever experienced, they would be the Scottish Opera production of Der Rosenkavalier at the Glasgow Theatre Royal in 2012, Anything Goes by Triple Threat and Charlie - The Return. I list them chronologically, rather than in order of merit’ "Spellbinding! So intimate. So emotional. So enjoyable" "Selsey is lucky to have the talent and courage to put on a musical show about Charlie Chaplin "It lifted us out of lockdown melancholy" "Best evening out ever" "Great story - learnt a lot about Chaplin" "We cried - it was just such a special evening - our first evening out since Covid began. A big thank you to the cast for a wonderful performance ..." "Amazing acting. Selsey is lucky that young people can be so professional in our little town "
‘Wow wow, what a show, absolutely amazed by the standard of the work and the attitude of the young people keeping to all those rules and regulations, yet doing what they had to do and it was so so moving . Arts Dream you rock!
“So professional with all the Covid stuff. The space smelt like a swimming pool but understand now that the whole space had been sprayed prior to us coming in. I felt so safe I did cry throughout it not only about what the story meant but what all the cast had to go through to be able to do it. Fantastic value for money at £10.00
