Arts Dream has been working with the new Selsey Works initiative at 53, High Street Selsey. This new centre creates opportunities for people, for business, for retail outlets and for families. There is a variety for support to include for example, job centre services, hot desks to rent, business, housing and health and well being advice from advisors. There are a variety of Pop up Shops to rent, and artists are encouraged to get involved and exhibit their art work. Sam working very hard getting everything ready for the opening launch of the centre,and this has been a great achievement for the team at Selsey Works, and it look as if everything is ready for the opening night and Arts Dream is very supportive of the initiative and really want to get involved so if you are an artist reading this and would like to exhibit your work or maybe get a Pop up shop to sell your art work, then let Arts Dream or Selsey Works know about it!
Sue Mundy is a textile artist who combines images, printing, colouring fabric, free machining and digitising. Her work is commissioned by a variety of people and organisations. Click on the pictures for the Bigger Picture!
Bob Hoare is a caricaturist with a national reputation for his engaging and expressive prints and pictures. He also works with oil paint but is more well known for his fabulous prints.
Bea Lander has lived in Selsey for 25 years and is a self taught artist, and loves to explore colour and work in an abstract and semi- abstract way often using Selsey as the inspiration
Angela Benwell has exhibited specifically in this exhibition, her lace and paper sculptures. Both are exquisite and need to be looked at in detail, as they are delicate and very beautiful
Peter Warren is a wood carver and works organically carving birds and animals.
